The Book of Roman Remember that the Bible is the written revelation of God preserved for all humanity from generation to generation. (Matthew 5:8) ''For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one Jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.'' The law of course is referring to the whole 66 books of the Bible written by 40 chosen godly men from different times and in different cultures. The law of God or the Written Word of God was inspired by the power of God Himself, for the Bible says, ''All scripture (is) given by inspiration of God, and (is) profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV). ''But (there is) a spirit in man: and the Inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.'' (Job 32:8 KJV). According to Job we have in us a spirit capable in understanding the preserved written revelation as God gives us understanding. We know from 2 Timothy 3:16 there are four basic works of the Holy Scripture performed in us as we learned the Bible: they are (1) profitable for doctrine, (2) for reproof, (3) for correction, (4) for instruction in righteousness. Another proof that the Holy Spirit is working in us and with us to understand the the preserved Holy Scripture is found in 1Corinthians 2:12 which says, ''Now we have recieved, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.'' In Psalms 12:6-7 it says, ''The words of the Lord (are) pure words: (as) silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, o Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.'' Again the Holy Scriptures or the Law of God is pure, purified seven times, no contaminant and was preserved forever for our own benefit. If God did not preserved his Words, humanity have no hope, no freedom from evil that enslave our bodies, hearts and mind. Aren't you glad God preserved the Bible for your own good, that someday, we are going to face God in peace, not in wrath. Apostle Peter wrote, ''As a new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.'' (1 Peter 2:2 KJV). Who are this new born babes apostle Peter refffering to, well, they are no other than the newly born men, women, and children into the Kingdom of God. These men, women, and Children who placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord were accepted in the beloved. As a new born Christians (followers of Christ) they need the sincere word of God to grow in faith. Also apostle Paul wrote to Tmothy and said, ''Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.'' (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV). Therefore spiritual growth is gradual and consistent to those who have placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. In Romans 8:16 says, ''The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the Children of God.'' In this particular passage of Scripture, apostle Paul clarify those who are the children of God. No mistake about it, there are the sons and daughters of the Devil, and the sons and daughters of God. ''In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the Devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.'' (1 John 3:10 KJV). Now here is the distinction between the sons of God and the sons of the Devil. Those who do not do righteousness and does not love his brother are the Children of the Devil. It is clear that those who will going to reject the Only Begotten son of God as the Savior, The redeemer, The Mediator, The reconciler, and the God man are sons and daughters of the Devil. If you don't have the Spirit of God living in you, then you are not the sons or daughters of God, but the Devil. This is not my words, this is the Word of God telling us who are those Children of God and the Children of the Devil. Probably you have heard many times that we are all the sons and daughters of God by many religious leaders around the world. But is not true at all according to the Scriputres. |
