''And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.'' (Revelation 21:1-3 kjv).

God the Almighty let John see the future of our world, and the world to come. Our Old world as we know it today would vanished in thin air, and God the Almighty will usher in the New Heaven and the New Earth; the home of the Old and New Testament saints. yes, the difficulty in believing this future World is unthinkable, but one man; John the apostle saw it coming with his own eyes.

John had nothing to gain in lying to us, but since God let him see the reality of the future, it is only a loving gesture on his part to tell us about it. But on the other hand, He wrote this part of the future because God told him to write it, otherwise, John would never wrote it.

John wrote and said, ''The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which is God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John.'' (Revelation 1:1-3 kjv).

So God the Father gave this revelation to his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and in turn Christ showed it to his apostle John. So it comes from the Father, brought it to the Son, then Jesus showed it to John, and John wrote it for us to know and be blessed from it. It seem so simple, is it not.

''Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein; for the time is at hand.'' (Revelation 1:3 kjv).

What God is saying to us was that, this book of Revelation is a blessing to all who will read, hear, and keep all those things in it. Many people today believed in horoscope, and all the crytal ball ladies on the block, rather than believed God and his Written revelation; the Bible.

The Book of Revelation and all the books of the Bible should be a blessing to all of us, because it tells us what are we going to do to any situation, and give us answers to many questions to all issues of life. It also give us hope beyond this earthly life to a bright and joyous future that this world could not offer. But we must hear, read, and believed what was written in the Holy Book; the Bible. Read, hear, and keep it, or owned it for your sake.

God said that we must hear, read, and keep it for the time is at hand. What does this mean to all of us? Well, our time on this earth will not last forever, as John wrote it; someday it will passed away. Time actually was not in our favor, urgency must be the norm, and we must act now while the window of opportunity is still open to all.

While we are so pre-occupied with global warming, green gases, and preserving this planet earth, we are not at all concerned about the total destruction of earth by the Maker Himself.

God will not going to preserved this planet earth, He have plan better than what we have today.

Apostle Peter wrote,''But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up, seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of the God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?'' (II Peter 3:10-11-12 kjv).

Again, Peter warning those Christians in his time about their conversation or conduct reminded them concerning what will going to happen to earth in the future. Peter said that the Earth will be on fire with fervent heat and eventually it will dissolved. So what is the lesson we can learn from this earth passing away. Well, the only hope we have is in Christ Jesus. We cannot leaned to much from this earth, or this world that we have, because someday, it will be on fire and it will be dissolved. All your wealth, your house, cars, jewelries, and all your pets, idols will be gone forever. Your best investment right now is in the Lord Jesus Christ, and the New Heaven and the New earth that will be ushered in in the future.

Putting your faith in Christ would be the only future you are looking forward to; mother earth will not going to help you now or in the future to come.

Again, a simple sinner's prayer will do, asking God to forgive you, and accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Believing that the Lord Jesus Christ was sent by the Father, and he went to the cross and paid the penalty of your sin in full, was buried and rose again from the dead the third day. Oh, by the way don't forget also that he had promised to take you back in his New Heaven and New Earth free of charge of course.

If there is something you need to learn and take it to heart, you need to know that mother earth will not be here forever, time will come that mother earth will ceased to exist. On the other hand, God sent his Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believed in him shall not perish, but can have everlasting life. Planet earth might be destroyed, but if you are secured in Christ, you have something to look forward to; the New Earth, and the New heaven.

How then can you secure your place in the New Earth and the New Heaven? Well, it simply asking God, bow down on your knees in humility, accept that you are a sinner, heading to hell. Asked forgiveness from God, and put your faith in His Only Begotten Son as your Savior.

How would you know that you are saved? Well, again the Bible will tell you if you are saved or not. Remember, read, hear, and believed. Three simple words that will radically changed your life, and your world view.
