The death, burial, and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ sum up the Gospel of Christ preached by Peter on the day of Pentecost. Understanding the death, burial, and the ressurection of the Lord Jesus Christ is crucial in Christian growth in terms of faith, relationship, and dealings with unsual events christians were up against in daily life.

Now, liberal mindset tell you otherwise that somehow the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ was not really in effect in mordern day life style. Since culture, politics, and religions have changed radically the gospel or the blood religion have no relevant in todays in crowd, that's what they said. Again, God does not adjust to human culture, politics and the way we understand or interpret the Bible today. God will never changed, and as for the gospel of His Only Begotten Son it stand as the norm when it comes to Salvation, and how are we going to live in this planet earth. The highest standard that we are going to emulate is the righteousness of His Son Jesus Christ, though by virtue of our nature, it is impossible to attain.

Since it is impossible to attain the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ by our own merit, God the Father is willing, and ready to impart the Righteousness of His Son to any one who will come to him in repentance, and recieved His Only Begotten Son as the Savior. ''But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name''. (John 1:12) kjv). The Bible says that faith comes by repeatedly hearing the written Word of God. (faith cometh by hearing, hearing the word of God). How are you going to hear the word of God. There are ways by which we can hear the word of God. First you can go to a Church that preach and teach the Bible without the liberal slant, or spin to it. Second, you can buy your own Bible (highly recommended, King James Version) and read it yourself as open as you can. Third, look for a Bilble study group in your area. Fourth, you can go to a website that preach, teach the Bible at its face value. Fifth, watch out for Christian psycology bible study group, they are everywhere today, and most of them are liberals in mind set. How can you tell they are liberal: Asked them if they used King James Bible, and if they are offended by the KJV Bible, that is not your place.

Now how relevant the death, burial, resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ in your quest to the truth: Without the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Christ, Christianity is just one of the hopeless religion around the world. The crucifixion, burial, and resurrection is the foundation of the true Church of the Lord Jesus Christ since it was intruduced in the book of Acts. Death itself is the last thing that needed to be conquered, and through his death, burial, and resurrection, death was defeated. We know that by the power of God, resurrection from the dead is possible to all of us. Apostle Paul wrote; ''The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.'' (1 Corinthians 15:26 kjv). ''O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strenght of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.'' (1 Corinthians 15:55-58 kjv). So apostle Paul encourages all Christians then and now that through the death, burial, and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have victory over death. ''For this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.'' (1 Corinthians 15:54 kjv). Since Jesus Christ died bodily on the cross of Calvary, and was burried, and rose again the third day validates that life after physical death exist as the Lord demonstrated by his own resurrection. Can the Lord Jesaus Christ has the power to resurrect his own body? Well, the answer is obvious, Yes, because He is God in the flesh. The key to understand all this mind boggling event was that, Jesus Christ is God who manisfested himself on the flesh through the virgin birth. Best yet, apostle John wrote, ''All things were made by him (Jesus Christ), and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.'' (John1:3-4 kjv). Now, we know that Jesus Christ is the creator of all things, living and non-things were made by him. Beside being the Creator, he is life and the source of life. Jesus Christ is the one that Created humanity from the dust of the earth. Now, remember that there is only one God, but God revealed himself to us in three person, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Though, Jesus Christ is the only Begotten son of God, he is equal to God in all essence. He is the God man as apostle John put it.

Since Jesus Christ is alive forevermore we too were granted eternal life provided we are going to believed, trust, or placed our faith in him. Apostle John wrote, ''For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. (v18) ''He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the of the ''only Begotten Son of God.'' (John 3:17-18 kjv). Therefore the key word that we need to embed into our hearts is the word believed, trust, and faith. If we want to have this free gift of God, placing or trusting the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior is a must do. Yes, God offer of Salvation is free for the taking, but in order to be ours we must recieved it first. Note on verse 18, ''He that believeth (believed) on him (Jesus Christ) is not condemned'', ''but he that believeth (believed) not is condemened already.'' Here we see two kinds of people, the have's and have not. Those who believed Christ as the Savior have eternal life, those who have not placed their faith or believed in Christ Jesus as their Savior have not eternal life, worst of all the have not is condemend already.
