Why join a Baptist Church Well, though there are many shades, shapes and colors in the Baptist community, there is always one that stand out unique among them all. However, one common bridge that bring them together was their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Savior of the world. There are also Baptists that stand and defend the integrity, and the veracity of the King James version of the Bible, and of course we are one of those millions baptists who depend the integrity of the KJV. Why many Baptist stay away from other versions of the Bible?, well because those other versions were heavily edited from its origin, and there is one common agenda: attacked the Diety, and humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Baptist word is an acronym which stand for the Bible, Autonomous, Priesthood, Testaments, Independent, Separation, (T)rinity, (T)en commandments, (T)estimony. ( B) of course stand for the Bible (KJV highly recommended). The whole 66 canon of the Bible is under the inspiration of God Himself. ''All scriptures is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.'' (2 Timothy 3:16, 17 kjv). It is a God breathed books written by God's prophets (OT), and Apostles (NT) over at least 1,500 years in divers cultures and time. The writers were all eye witnesses of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, therefore, the Bible, or the Holy book was not a fabrication of the 40 writers. In fact it was the revelationh from God to us. Of course, there are many who dispute the claimed of the Bible, but at the end of the day, God is God and his Written laws will prevailed. Also in Hebrew 4:12 says, ''For the word of God is quick (alive) and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder (into pieces or parts) of soul and spirit, and joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.'' (KJV). In other words, the Written Revelation of God had an impact to all of us, whether, we believed it or not. The word of God would be the gauge God will used to judge every individual whatever the intent or purpose of our hearts. Since the word of God is alive and powerful, it is not dormant, but it is active in every Christian daily lives. (A), stand for autonomous body of Christ. They are self supporting in finances, they do'nt rely on other Body of Christ to finance their liabilities, and expenses through the course of their ministry. They don't have no Pope dictating what they can, and cannot do in their practices, or form of Worship. They depend on tithes and offering of the body of Christ to finance all their needs. (P) stand for priesthood of all believers in Christ Jesus. ''Ye also, a lively (full of life) stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.'' (v9) ''But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.'' (IPeter 2:5, 9 kjv). Now again, Peter reminded those who come to God in repentance and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior about where they stand as far as God is concerned. They are peculiar chosen generation, a holy priest in the eyes of God. They have not chosen themselves as priests, but God personally called them out not only a lively stones body of Christ but a holy priests. This doctrine of priesthood among all believers were not fabrication, but was written in the Holy book. As far as God is concerned, every believer in Christ Jesus is a priest. Being a part of the priesthood, all believers have given the privilege to access God's throne anytime, anywhere. Now, to be fair, Can unbelievers have the same privileges to access God's throne anytime and anywhere? The answer to that question is a resounding NO, However, God has given them a window of opportunity to come in repentance and to place their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior. God have given all men/women to come to Him in repentance and accept His Only Begotten Son as the Savior. ''The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to us ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.'' (2 Peter 3:9 kjv). Therefore, before any unbeliever could access the Throne of God, they should come and repent toward God, and of course, believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only savior of your life. In Romans 10:13 says, ''For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.'' Therefore, the window of opportunity for everyone to call upon the Lord as their Savior that they might be saved is wide open. The probability of a person of getting saved and be part of the living stones, be part of the priesthood are wide open. Actually, God is waiting for that call 24/7, and if you are going to call now, God will answer your prayer. (T) Testaments or Covenant, we know that the BIBLE is a compilations of 66 books, 39 books in Old Testament, and 27 books in the New Testament. In the Old Testament, the chosen prophets of God were the writers, and in the New Testament the chosen apostles of Jesus Christ were the writers. Both were eyewitness of God's Revelation. The Bible was not written by a single man somewhere in the cave of Arabia without any eye witnesses. We do not accept the apocriphal books because they were not written by chosen prophets and apostles of God. One thing more apocriphal books don't bear the Holy signet of God at all. Beside that, they were written not bearing the inspiration of God Himself, therefore it is not the word of God, but the word of men. We cannot trust the word of men in any shape or form, especially when it comes to sound (healthy) doctrine, because the foundation of a true biblical Church is the Holy Doctrine of God, not men. (i) stand for Independent. Baptist governance is indepent in nature, and all the teaching and preaching are sole responsibility of the presiding pastor base on doctrinal stand of the Bible (KJV). Not all pastors of Baptist represent the whole umbrella of Baptist churhces around the world. We speak indepentdently without the fear of other organizations out there, and we take responsibility of what we teach and preach. Our leader is the Lord Jesus Christ and as such we adhere entirely to the full counsel of the 66 Revelation of God (KJV). Although, we fellowship with other like minded Baptist churches, we are independently governed. (S) Stand for separation. ''Wherefore, come out from among them, be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will recieve you'' (2 Cor.6:17 KJV). Well of course Jesus Christ was not telling the Christians to hide in the caves and be totally separate themselves from the people, but what the Lord Jesus Christ was trying to communicate was that, ''Every Christian should separate himdelf/herself from Idol worship, deviant doctirne, teaching, immoral life style which is not of God. Jesus Christ said, do not touched the unclean things. Every teaching, practices, and doctrines that were not aligned to sound or healthy doctrines should not be the norm of every Christian. Yes we could mingle with other people, but not to engage to their idol worship life style. We can come out and talked about the Lord Jesus Christ with them, but would not succumb to their false belief, superstitious vent, and worldly culture. Baptist should separate themselves to all form of evil, false teachings, false doctrines, and steadfast on the truth taught in the Bible. We are not to hide in the caves, houses, but be visible comfronting false teachings and to engage in the spiritual battle in front of us. The last (T) would be the Ten Commandments and the doctrine of (T)rinity. Although, keeping the Ten Commandments would not saved anyone from Hell fire, it would act as a marker how Christians would live in this world. For example, the Ten Commandments says that, do not bear false witness. Now it is very simple to understand especially when we are dealing with the Bible. We should not twist the Bible to fit our belief system, because if we are going to play Bible twisting we are bearing false witness to God and to the people. Making Peter the first pope would be a gross Bible twisting, because apostle Peter was not the first pope in the Roman Catholic Church. This is a blantant attacked of the Roman Catholic to God the Father, to the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit which is the teacher of the Bible never taught that Peter was the first pope. The Roman Catholic Church is making God a liar when they claimed that Peter was the first pope. Again, to all my countrymen here and abroad, if you are following the Roman Catholic as your Church, you are following a false religious belief that eventually lead you to your eternal destruction to hell fire.
